Canopy Fabric Options
Harbortime: Our standard on all new boat lifts with canopies. 12 oz. vinyl coated, polyester fabric is highly water repellent and abrasion resistant. Harbortime offers excellent heat reduction and reflection to keep your boat cooler. Exceptional UV performance and mildew resistance.
Shelter-Right: Available upon request. Heavy duty 18oz vinyl is the leading vinyl in the marine industry. The Shelter-Rite vinyl puncture and abrasion resistant, won't crack, peel or harden. Mold, mildew and UV treated.
No matter which canopy you choose for your
Craftlander Vertical Boat lift, there are a few things to remember. Never leave your canopy fabric on your lift without the boat as ballast. Adding a canopy to your boat lift also makes it more likely to tip over in windy conditions. While it is perfectly fine to leave your fabric on while you are using your boat, if you are to leave your boat lift unattended for an extended period of time, it is recommended to remove your canopy fabric. Empty boat lifts with canopies left unattended can blow over in windy conditions.
It is also recommended that you use your boat to aid in the installation and removal of your canopy fabric. This makes it much easier as you can walk on the boat to reach the framework of the canopy. So remember, if you are taking your boat off for the season, take your fabric with too.
