Lifts & Docks is proud to offer Craftlander boat lifts. I urge anyone to find a better built boat lift on the market today when considering quality, features, warranty, and price. It can't be done, we know. We searched long and hard to find the right boat lift manufacturer to lead our sales. We looked at them all and Craftlander stood out by far. It wasn't even close.
The most common and pointed question I receive is "what's wrong with these lifts, why are the so cheap?" Good question.
First, there is nothing wrong with Craftlander boat lifts at all. In fact they are among the best designed and built boat lifts on the market. Craftlander's quality is easily equal to Shore Station, Shore Master, Pier Pleasure, or Floe.
Second, they cost less than others because of the same reason you probably haven't heard of them. Craftlander does not have elaborate advertising programs or dealer financing programs. This can cost a manufacturer a lot of money, and that cost gets passed on to the consumer. Craftlander focuses on making boat lifts, just like we focus on selling, installing, and servicing them. Craftlander is also less expensive because they don't use a lot of fancy extruded components. Other manufacturers use extruded pieces to help reduce weight and allow certain proprietary qualities in the design. These extruded pieces significantly drive up the cost of a lift and complicate parts availability.
